Accidental injury is the No. 1 cause of death among children age 14 and younger in the U.S. Each year, 1 in 4 children need medical attention for an accidental injury. However, as much as 90 percent of accidental injuries can be prevented.

The solution: Safe Kids

Safe Kids Wisconsin is 1 of more than 300 grassroots coalitions in the U.S.,including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, that bring together health and safety experts, educators, corporations, foundations, governments and volunteers to educate and protect families.

Children's Hospital of WISafe Kids Wisconsin, led by Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, is a member of Safe Kids Worldwide, a global network of organizations dedicated to preventing accidental injury.
